[HDR-photo] batch-processing and camera response curve in Photomatix?

Christian,

I don't quite get what you mean. So, if batch-process in Photomatix to
generate HDRIs and LDRIs with Detail Enhancer, the results won't be good for
stitching but can be used for alignment in PTGui. If the results are not
stitch-able, how can we use them for alignment?
I have been using the workflow you suggested for a while which is as below:
1. batch process in Photomatix
2. using tonemapped JPEGs as stitching template in PTGui (is here what you
mean by "good for alighnment"?)
3. swap out JPEGs with respective EXRs for final HDR panorama stitching

Is this workflow basically what you mean in the last reply?

Thanks,
Jason
