You may have to download version 5.3 then the upgrade to 5.5.

I know Lightroom is an excellent product, but I share your
opinion about so much to learn. So far, I'm doing reasonably
well with Photoshop CS4. I've downloaded the new beta
version and will likely go for it when the new release is final.
