Thanks to you all for your replies.
As mentioned I have been shooting and processing raw files for many
years...with all the top Nikon cameras and adobe camera raw.
I'll likely continue the hdr work flow of shooting raw...converting
to tiffs...then running the tiffs in photomatix.
I had just wondered if shooting jpegs, as recommended in the hdr book
pano section, might have benefits...while buffers work well on raws
on the nikons (d2x, d200, soon d300)...the buffer will slow down as
one shoots 7 brackets (wish nikons allowed to set 2ev brackets) per
pano view of 5-8 views...so one can need to shoot 35-56 images very
fast.
I need to do more tests...but I found I got better results converting
the raws to tiffs and then running photomatix.
Do some of you have good results running raws in photomatix?
I wonder if some of you run jpegs converted from raws in photomaitx
and how that works out?
Many Thanks,
Sam
