It might be simpler to just cancel and reorder yourself- not all of
Amazon's customer service reps are that helpful.

My reply from Amazon, last week, was that the book was not in stock and
they didn't know when it was going to be available. And that the book's
page was mistaken about it having already been released. They also said
to feel free to cancel the order if that wasn't acceptable to me.

After reading comments here about reordering, on Monday I canceled the
original order, which was placed in August, and placed a new order. The
book was shipped that day and arrived yesterday.
