[HDR-photo] Bizarre bird outlining and ghosting

Forgive me if this phenomena has been discussed, however I have experienced some bizarre bird ghosting and outlining on my last two Flickr pics (links below).  Asthetically speaking, I'm not complaining and actually think that it looks cool but would like to better understand how/why (beyond it was a moving bird) this occurred in the latest Photomatix upgrade (2.4).
