Thank you for replying. I read your email and re-studied my earlier efforts
and I came to the conclusion that it does in fact need a considerable amount
of images to capture a scene such as brightly lit shops at night.

If that is the case, are you suggesting that one should always shoot high
(minimum of 12 - 15) exposures of a subject to allow software to produce a
high content image ?
