[HDR-photo] jpeg exposure adjustment

Hello Dieter,
Yes, I would like to apply Tone Mapping to some older photos that I took
that were not exposed properly. I'm hoping to "save" some of them. They
aren't for public viewing, just some vacation shots that I would like to
improve. I will try converting them to the 16 bit TIF as you suggested.
