John, if you can provide a bit more info about the circumstances... What 
software & tone mapping approach are you using? What time of day are the 
shots taken (e.g. pre-dawn or in full light)? Is the blue cast just in 
the shadow tones or over the whole image? Do you have a link to an 
example image that you can post? Etc.
